Is Coffee really that bad for you?

It delivers the risk of total mortality!

• It has been shown to decrease the risk of cancers.

Coffee has a lot of antioxidants and this is believed to be the reason behind its cancer preventing properties. There is a good body of research around coffee and the reduction of liver cancer in particular.

• It reduces Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease

The research here is particularly strong in showing that coffee is associated with a decreased risk of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.

• Coffee lowers the risk of type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is an epidemic and coffee can play a role in reducing the odds of having this disease. The more coffee the better when it comes reducing diabetes with coffee.
There are Cardiovascular Benefits
There have been reports of lower heart rhythm disturbances in regular coffee drinkers as well as decreased risk of strokes for women.

• Performance Advantages

There are numerous benefits of coffee when it comes to athletic performance. This includes increased strength and power endurance, reaction time and increased recovery capacity.

All these benefits are pretty cool hey? It wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t briefly outline some of the risks. Pregnant women should really limit their consumption while large quantities of coffee can lead to heart palpitations, jitters and nervousness. I would also advise limiting its intake if you have anxiety or insomnia.”
