Throughout my life the biggest barrier I have had between goals and I is myself.

Lack of self-motivation hits even the most positive people, whether your plan is to improve your fitness, stick to a diet, start a new career or any other life-improving action, the best intention can quickly dissolve if we allow ourselves to focus on the negatives.

I used to set myself a target and start off full of focus and self-esteem and this gradually unravelled as I hit challenges or something knocked my confidence. Usually the fear of failure would prevent me from trying to reach my destination. I decided that I had to change if I was going to achieve what I wanted in life.
